The length is limited solely by transport logistics. The channels can have a horizontal or vertical outlet as required.
The excellent finish of the smooth stainless steel surface provides a self-cleaning speed for liquids in very low channels. The self-cleaning speed is 0.75 m/s. Speeds below this figure require manual flushing.
The discharge capacity of both channels will be reduced when carrying solids in the water. Normal gradients are 1% (1:100) and for liquid waste carrying solids the gradient will be 2% (1:50).
The details of the channel edges will depend on the finish of the flooring material, tile, resin or vinyl.
Channels can be created to adapt one side to the vinyl and resin or tile on the other side. For applications where heavy loads and/or thermal shocks will be handled, a wider frame around the perimeter is recommended. The expansion frame is supplied by the factory, welded to all profiles.
